APCNS Linkage in China, Indonesia, Australia, Thailand, and other nations of

Asia Pacific region for Clinical and Public Health Nutrition

THE GOAL

The intended is to develop and maintain an ongoing relationship between the society and universities/research organizations/enterprises. The relationship will provide opportunities for centre members (academic, administrative and professional staff) as well as students to participate actively in the education and research programmes of the Asia Pacific region.

SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES

Possible activities may include, but not be limited to, the following:

1.Joint research activities in Asia Pacific region;

2.Curriculum development which will contribute to the academic and professional development (dieticians and nutritionists) of the Asia Pacific region;

3.The exchange of teaching, research, administrative and professional personnel;

4.Exchange of information including, but not limited to, exchange of libraries materials and research publications; and

5.Development of Master, Ph.D. and Postdoctoral programmes in Asia Pacific region;

6.Staff and student exchange programmes in Asia Pacific region.
